Xpress Helium

Sourcing & Logistics

Global Helium Network. Producer to Doorstep.

Helium is produced by a small number of sources worldwide. We hold that supply chain together end to end — international procurement, port clearance, a Mumbai hub, and last-mile delivery — so a shortage abroad never becomes a shortage in your MRI room.

The Route

One continuous chain, not a series of handoffs

Most disruptions in helium supply happen at the joins between one party’s responsibility and the next. We hold the chain ourselves from international sourcing through to the delivery vehicle, so there’s one point of accountability, not five.

Global Sourcing

Standing relationships with international helium producers and logistics partners, spread across sourcing regions rather than a single supplier.

International Logistics

Ocean freight for liquid dewars and ISO containers, air cargo where a shipment needs to move faster than sea transit allows.

Port & Customs Clearance

Dedicated clearance handling for cryogenic and pressurised cargo, keeping shipments moving rather than queued at the dock.

Mumbai Distribution Hub

Our central hub for cylinder filling, dewar testing and stock holding, positioned to reach the rest of the country quickly.

Regional Dispatch

Dispatch scheduling that balances planned deliveries against standing emergency capacity across regions.

Door Delivery

Last-mile delivery by technicians trained on the specific equipment being dropped off, not general courier handling.

Delivery Mode — Liquid

Liquid helium: source to cryogenic dewar

Liquid helium moves under continuous cryogenic control from source to site. It’s sourced from producing regions, moved by air cargo where cooldown timelines are tight, and transferred into our dewar fleet before the final delivery leg.

Delivery Mode — Gaseous

Gaseous helium: source to cylinder

Gaseous helium typically moves by ISO tank container by sea, is filled into cylinders at our facility, and manifolded into quads or bundles before dispatch — a route built for volume rather than urgency.

Why This Structure Matters

Resilience comes from the chain, not any single link

Global helium supply has tightened before and will again. A network built on one producer or one shipping route passes that volatility straight through to the customer. Ours is built not to.
